BODY { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px; }Hi all, Let me tell you a few words. Thank you very much such an amazing and friendly meeting happened in there. Cos it wasn't quite technical/boring style. Timing was reasonable and well organized. For first meeting, it was fairly good sessions thanks to David for his XCore introduction and principles of architecture. Also Alan shared to vision of Amino project. Hopefully It will be affordable price, customised System on Chip/Stamp design for application specific solutions! Why double L1(unreachable L2) still in my mind :) Thanks a lot Paul, Andrew and all of you to make it done! Unfortunately I left before pub session anyway next time! PS: It was urgent situation charging my phone to return home. Greatly appreciated! Hakan
Thanks for the feedback Hakan, glad you enjoyed the event.
By the way here is a link to some of the information I discussed last night around Amino Alpha, as well as some background posts.
http://folknologylabs.wordpress.com/
I will be posting more here including an architecture summary and updates to the project.
Also The project is listed on Xcore Exchange here
http://www.xcore.com/projects/amino
I also Have a Github distributed version control repository here
http://github.com/folknology/Amino
Which is worth following, but please do not use the material here until it increments to the next version which I will update over the coming days/weeks. The current github documentation there is very out of date and is likely to confuse rather than help.
regards Al

Thanks indeed Hakan, and to Al Wood, and David May for a pair of very inspiring talks, and to everyone who came and help make for an enjoyable evening. I'm now motivated to experiment with XMOS, and try my hand at XC!
I'd also like to particularly thank my colleague, Andrew Back for seeding and organising the event, and remaining calm in the face of the fire alarm, just as Jonathan, David and Al arrived!
We hope to see everyone back at the next event, which is on the last Thursday of next month, the 27th, when we have Andrew Katz (on open hardware licensing) and a talk (and hopefully a demo) of RepRap, the speaker for which I think has to be confirmed.
We'd appreciate feedback and suggestions for further talks, or ways of running the event. Somethings mentioned in the pub which I thought sounded interesting was an evening dedicated to the success and future direction of Arduino through the lens of "open hardware", and tools and Websites for collaborating on Open Hardware projects. Do those ideas appeal?
In the meantime, Andrew and I will work on improving http://oshug.org, publishing the videos (as much as we have) and collecting any blog posts, photos, tweets people make about the event on the Web.
Thanks once again to all!
