Andrew and All,
I met for lunch with Al Wood - at our new "Office", The Sun Inn, Dunsfold, Surrey.
Al arrived in his new Tesla, and I arrived in my 10 year old, 2nd hand, Nissan LEAF, - so electric car Brownie Points all round.
I would like to give an early heads up, that my proposed workshop session is subject to a timely delivery of pcbs and components from China.
If for any reason, these do not arrive in time for the Sunday 25th workshop, the hardware and soldering exercise will be postponed, but attendees will receive a small RP2040 dev-board, which will be used to provide a software simulation of the missing hardware, and can then be used to act as the ROM support device for the hardware board.
On the event that no hardware is available, course attendees can pre-order hardware (pcb, ICs, sockets, connectors, passives etc) from me, at a one-time OSHUG discounted price of £20. (Or buy me five pints of Hebden beers!).
I will keep you updated to the status of the hardware element of this workshop.
regards,
Ken

Hello,
Unfortunately Matt Venn is now unable to give a talk on CI for Semiconductors at Open Source Hardware Camp. However, we do have a new talk from Chris Simmonds on Putting Linux into devices using Yocto Project. For details please see the updated programme at:

Cheers,
