Hello,
Next Wednesday at the BCS offices and from 2PM-5PM in the afternoon prior to OSHUG, Embecosm will be hosting a Shrimping [1] training session. The main purpose of which is to train #techmums [2] trainers in how to facilitate a workshop at which participants first construct the basic Shrimp circuit and then the POV project.
There are a few additional places available for non-#techmums trainers and if you're interested in taking part you can register via:
https://events.bcs.org/book/1101/
Cheers,
Andrew
Hi All,
Still a few places left for this if anyone else is interested in heading along.
The focus is on training people to run Shrimping workshops, so perhaps still relevant if you're doing much more advanced stuff, but you get involved in STEM outreach etc.
Registration (closes at midnight): https://events.bcs.org/book/1101/
Also remember that this month's meeting is tomorrow evening and not Thursday!
Cheers,
Andrew
