Hi OSHUG members,
A last reminder that the first RISC-V London group meetup of 2023 is being held tomorrow, Monday 15 January, at BCS London offices and online for those who cannot attend in person. Like all RISC-V London meetups, the focus is on the open source aspects of RISC-V. Details of the talks and registration:

We have one research talk and one tutorial.
A team of Masters students from the University of Southampton will present their work attempting to create the world's smallest RISC-V AI processor. This talk is particularly interesting, because the project did not go as planned. As well as presenting the technology, the group will look at the difficulties of project managing a short project developing advanced technology.
Nandni Jamnadi, project lead for the Open Hardware Group's GNU tool chain development will give a tutorial on how to add a builtin (intrinsic) function to GCC. This is based on her work with the CV32E40P, a 32-bit RISC-V processor with 8 ISA extensions, comprising well over 200 additional instructions.
I look forward to seeing you in person or online.
