No need to apologise, it's totally fine and encouraged to discuss non-OSHUG stuff here and I probably didn't need to point the distinction out. In fact, since the connection between most of the people involved is OSHUG, it is clearly related, even though it isn't an OSHUG event per se.
I think I should probably shut up now :o)
