Hello,
I'm having difficulty sourcing barrel connector sockets rated at >5A, which is bizarre as numerous reputable suppliers sell 12V/10A desktop PSUs that terminate in a 5.5mm OD / 2.5mm ID barrel plug. Yet, no matter how much searching I do I can only seem to turn up 2.5A rated sockets and, at a push, 5A rated.
Grateful for any suggestions or insights anyone can offer here...
